QR Code Generator

Type a link, a phone number, some Wi-Fi details, or any text at all, and a QR code appears instantly, ready to download as a PNG. There is no watermark, no signup, no expiry, and no tracking redirect in the middle: the code encodes exactly what you typed, so it will keep working long after this page is gone. That is the important difference from most free QR generators, which quietly route your code through their own short link and can break it or start charging later. The code is drawn in your browser using an error-correction level that keeps it scannable even if part of it is scuffed or covered by a small logo. Nothing you type is uploaded, so private URLs and Wi-Fi passwords stay on your device.

Encoded in your browser. The code contains exactly what you type — no redirect, nothing to expire.

How to use the qr code generator

  1. Type or paste the text, URL, or number you want to encode.
  2. Watch the QR code redraw as you type, and scan it with your phone to check it.
  3. Adjust the size if you need a larger image for print.
  4. Download the PNG and use it wherever you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code encodes your content directly rather than pointing at a redirect we control, so there is nothing to expire and nothing that can be switched off later.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes. There is no watermark and no licence attached. Put them on packaging, posters, business cards, or menus.
How much text can a QR code hold?
Thousands of characters in theory, but density rises with length and dense codes are harder to scan, especially in print. For URLs, shorter is genuinely better.
Why will my printed QR code not scan?
Usually it is too small, printed with too little contrast, or missing the quiet zone — the blank margin around the code. Keep it at least two centimetres across, keep it dark on light, and leave clear space around it.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The image is generated in your browser. Nothing you type, including Wi-Fi passwords, is uploaded.
